You want to make city tour. Just go to Karwa Bus Station and choose any of the public bus take a ticket for QR 3 and enjoy. Select different bus number in other day and again....

i tried once. i walked from my villa to the tebah petrol station; rode bus 102 to al ghanim; rode bus 76 to city center. on the way back rode bus 76 to the terminal and bus 102 to al gharaffa at 7:00pm on a friday. the bus is packed like sardines. i have to hang on for dear life as the driver maneuvers around the roundabout at insane speed. interesting?

afb! opting to travel in the bus on a friday is a bad choice.. that is the only day Dohaites get an off from work.. and opting for karwa bus is the most economical choice for them..

oh emmz, yes you can tell them your preference - economy class, business class or whatever of your choice.. also make sure whether you want smoking or non-smoking! :P

Best thing to do guys is get old of a close frend and ask him to join you to tour the city ......

Well, i am a born brought up guy from Qatar, but i havent still known what is it being like in a bus ,

Yeah, picking up spots might often not create a dilemma, so i would recommend u to go through the books (Marhaba)

If you walk throughout Corniche for 2 hours u wuld have had a short tour of Qatar......

or else take a swim! :P

Thanks guys for remembering. Luckily, the situation is a little better this time. My job provides a chaffeured service to the jobsite. I can always request my driver to detour me once in a while to have a glimpse of doha. corniche is nice! however, my driver said, the best time to stroll in corniche is after summer. By the way, I work in the construction at The Pearl Qatar.
