first of all did you inform you Qtel about it . As from what I know , when the stolen phone turned off Qtel can get the place of the phone.
Well my friend has same situation , what I remmeber she entered her account on Itunes and closed her Iphone . and changed all her passwords

I have an iphone and from what I can tell online, you have to download an app which will track your phone through a website. But that doesn't work unless you actually know that at some point you're going to loose your phone. Besides that, the only way is probably through the vendor you bought it from and have him contact Apple to remotely block the phone's UID from working.

if you register with find my iphone then u can go to ur itune in ur pc that can locate ur iphone usually.
